AGO Companion Apps
Free, ad-free pronunciation and listening tools designed to accompany the physical AGO card games. Hear the target language clearly, practice at your own pace and bring accurate audio support into lessons or home study.
AGO Q&A Sound Pad
The AGO Q&A Sound Pad helps learners hear how the questions and useful language on the cards should sound. Choose the matching prompt, listen to a clear model, repeat it and then use it immediately in conversation. Learners can replay difficult phrases as often as needed, compare their own pronunciation with the model and build confidence before speaking to a partner. It works well for self-study, classroom pronunciation checks, teacher-led repetition and supporting hesitant learners during a game. Audio on demand also keeps the game moving. It also helps students practice between lessons.
AGO Phonics Sound Pad
The AGO Phonics Sound Pad puts the complete AGO Phonics audio library at your fingertips. It covers every target sound across all seven AGO Phonics levels, from early letter sounds through advanced phoneme patterns. With more than 800 audio examples once the individual phoneme sounds, words and variations are counted together, learners can tap and listen whenever they need a clear pronunciation model. It is useful for independent practice, classroom demonstrations and checking unfamiliar sounds during a game, and is designed to support the physical AGO Phonics cards rather than replace them.
Free to use. No ads. No pop-ups. Both sound pads are 100% ad-free, so learners can listen and practice without paid advertisements, pop-ups or distracting interruptions. The essential app experience is fully usable for free. An optional in-app purchase adds a small number of deluxe preferences—principally the choice between male and female voices—but it is not required to use the core sound-pad features.
How to use the sound pads
1. Find the matching card, question or phonics target. 2. Tap the corresponding item in the app to hear a clear audio model. 3. Listen, repeat and use the language immediately in the card game. The apps make it easy for teachers, parents and independent learners to check pronunciation without interrupting the flow of play.
