The AGO Interview Game keeps an entire class speaking and moving. It can be used with AGO Q&A or AGO Phonics and works with up to 36 players when using one deck.
Give each student one numbered card. Students circulate around the room and find a partner. With AGO Q&A, both students ask and answer the questions on their cards. With AGO Phonics, both read their cards aloud. They then swap cards and find new partners.
Continue until time is called.
To add a goal, give each student a sheet of paper and ask them to collect a signature after every successful exchange. The student with the most signatures wins. Alternatively, students can try to collect one signature for every card number from 1 to 9.
Demonstrate the exchange before starting and establish clear rules for safe movement. Encourage students to meet a new partner each time rather than returning repeatedly to the same friends.
