AGO Phonics Sound Pad (the App) is published by AGO Educational Ltd (we, us, or our), a company based in New Zealand.
We respect your privacy and aim to collect as little personal information as possible.
Information collected by the App
AGO Phonics Sound Pad does not require users to create an account or provide personal information such as a name, email address, phone number, or location to use its learning features.
The App:
- does not display advertising;
- does not use advertising trackers;
- does not track users across other apps or websites; and
- does not intentionally collect personal information through analytics services.
Purchases
The current version of the App does not include in-app purchases.
If a future version offers an optional purchase, the transaction will be processed by the platform from which you obtained the App, such as the Apple App Store or Google Play. We will not receive or store your full payment-card or bank-account details. The relevant platform may independently collect and process information under its own privacy policy.
External websites and services
The App may open external websites or services, such as YouTube or AGO Educational webpages, in your device’s web browser. These external websites and services operate under their own privacy policies and terms. We do not control and are not responsible for their privacy practices.
The App also includes a limited embedded web view for the AGO Educational contact page. This web view is not intended for general browsing and does not provide access to unrelated websites. Like most websites, the contact page and its hosting or security providers may automatically process limited technical information—such as an IP address, browser or device information, and access logs—needed to deliver and secure the page. The AGO Cards website privacy policy applies when you use that page.
Contact information you choose to provide
If you choose to contact us through the contact page or by email, we may receive information that you voluntarily provide, such as your name, email address, and message.
We use this information only to respond to your enquiry, provide customer support, maintain appropriate business records, and comply with legal obligations. Please do not include unnecessary personal information about a child in a message.
Children’s privacy
AGO Phonics Sound Pad is designed to be suitable for children, families, teachers, and English-language learners.
The App’s learning features do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If a child or parent contacts us directly, we handle the information provided only as reasonably necessary to respond to the enquiry and for the purposes described in this policy.
If you believe a child has provided personal information to us without appropriate permission, please contact us so that we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.
Data sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade users’ personal information.
Because the App’s learning features do not intentionally collect personal information, we do not share app-collected personal information with third parties. Information voluntarily provided through the contact page may be processed by service providers that help us operate our website, email, security, or support services, only as reasonably necessary to provide those services. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, AGO Educational Ltd, or others.
Data retention and deletion
AGO Phonics Sound Pad does not maintain user accounts or intentionally store personal information collected through its learning features on our servers.
If you contact AGO Educational Ltd, we may retain the information you provide for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry, provide support, comply with legal obligations, or maintain appropriate business records. We then delete or anonymise it when it is no longer needed.
You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information that you have provided directly to us, subject to applicable law.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the App, our practices, or applicable law. Any changes will be published on this page, and the Last updated date will be revised.
